「Ocean view was so beautiful 」

「It was a decent place to stay. Not fancy or super modern. I only had a couple small gripes and they are very minor. Our room had a ton of 110v outlets on one side of the bed only which made phone charging and plugging in my CPAP machine challenging. The other was only one of the lights in the main part of the room worked. Other than that it was clean and did the job for what we needed.」

「Lovely place in quiet setting with just the sound of the ocean waves to lull us to sleep. Hospitable and attentive staff. Comfortable room with expansive view to ocean. Guest rooms in different corners of the lodge to give privacy. Generous breakfast. Pathway directly to beautiful beach. Would stay again if back in Newport area. 」

「I was put into a room facing the beach and all the weather. Should be a good thing, but all the salt spray deteriorated the threshold. The door did not close well, deadbolt did not latch. Late that evening I heard a drip. And saw rapid dripping from the ceiling near the bathroom. I called the front desk. I was told they would look into it. I would have expected them to send someone to my room. I called again and they told me they had not seen a problem. I said to come to my room. Maintenance...

「I made a booking and had to check in around 8:30 pm . When I arrived no one was there to check me in the lights were off and the door was locked. They had a number posted on the door for late check in so I called and no one answered. I kept calling and still nothing. I call Expidia to help me and they tried calling and no one answered. I asked to cancel my booking so I could get a room elsewhere (btw I have a vary tired toddler in the car this whole time) Expidia told me that they would put in a...

「I stayed here again after two years because the hotel is located right by the sea, the scenery is beautiful and very quiet, and there is a heated swimming pool that the children love. It is as good as always! !」

「We stayed one night in the Drama room. Very lovely themed hotel. Plenty of books to borrow and even a quiet library space on the top floor. Many options for food and shopping within walking distance. Be aware there is no elevator. Charming place.」

「Walked across to the shops for the best coffee and good pastries. The little market in the lodge had a good burger and lighter options too. I got a great chai there every day. The room was perfect for us, with a nice balcony I used for some sketching and reading, a gas fireplace for cool evenings, and comfy beds I didn’t want to leave. 」
