「Got stuck in STT a couple of nights when flights were cancelled due to Hurricane Erin. Staff were very courteous and accommodating, even as they were at work during a Cat 5 instead of at home with their families. Parts of the island flooded and were without power, but the Emerald Beach Resort had a generator and felt very safe. 「Blue Beards is a lovely place to be. Its high on a hill and there are lots of steps! The road up to the place is not in great shape. Walking up and down the hill to town can be a little difficult. Blue Beards itself is fantastic. The view is amazing. The grill has great food with gluten-free options, which we needed. The staff are all very helpful and friendly!」

If I had to complain about one thing, it would be the bathrooms around the resort...With the exception of the bathroom at Alora, none of them are airconditioned. Without air-conditioning, it get hits real hot, and the smell isnt pleasant either. 」
