If my review was solely on the view and the staff it would be a perfect review However the rooms and property need maintenance the sliding glass doors need roller replacement little hot water The pool was great and we were treated to a barbecue The on-site restaurant has excellent food and dining choices we had dinner there enjoyed the seafood soup the shrimp tarts and jerk chicken pasta Also included in stay was breakfast which was very hearty eggs potato’s and bacon However no where to get coffee before 8 am and no coffee in room and restaurant hours not posted Also shows on Expedia short walk to the castle etc it is not walkable anywhere You need to take taxis But the views were amazing

Better than average breakfast menu. Air conditioning was old school but worked. Excellent bar and restaurant. Room 120 involved way too many stairs for an old guy. Beware the question “Can you walk 50 steps?” They really mean stairs.

The included breakfast was good quality food but you only had 2 choices. Gratuity was extra. I would have preferred a serve yourself continental breakfast. The views from the covered open air restaurant are stellar. No fault of the hotel, but their location makes it virtually impossible to do any activities without a cab ride that can get expensive. It would be advisable to plan your daily activities so you are just doing one cab ride out and one ride back per day. Our room (standard king) was cool and comfortable. It had a small balcony that afforded incredible picture taking of Charlotte Amalie harbor. Power on the island is spotty at best but the hotel does have a fully adequate automatic backup generator. Definitely worth taking a short walk UP the hill to Sib's on the Mountain - great local hot spot for food and drink. The weather was absolutely perfect!

The best and worth part of staying here is the view aside from that breakfast was free it helped a lot with spending money on food also because the only way to eat is actually getting into a taxi and finding everything else since you are on the top of a mountain and there’s nothing near or around there unless you’re driving or taking a taxi which are per person and becomes very expensive after a few rides a day. Did wish the breakfast was more flexible as you only have 2 options to choose from unless you want to pay to eat something else from the already set up menu. The waitresses at the restaurant were very helpful and friendly at breakfast gave us tips on things to do. We noticed St. Thomas isn’t really ADA so if you have any issues with climbing or stairs you might find yourself very stranded since everywhere there are hills, stairs and no way for someone who disabilities to get to anywhere specific this hotel where all they have is stairs to the reception, restaurant and rooms not even talk about the pool which is like 3 floors down the reception. If you love the view you are in for a treat if you want to be close to everything this is not the place you can’t walk you need taxis nothing is walking distance as that is not a possibility.

Breakfast was nice they give you coupons so for 3 people it was only $12.50. I dont know where your gunna go on the island that will cost you that for food for three. Very was nice staff was more than helpful. Rule to anyone traveling to St. Thomas make sure to eat before 9pm seems like the whole island closes for the night on weekdays. Getting a taxi could be a bit tough ( do all your traveling before 7pm) on some days maybe a 20-30min wait id recommend a rental car since your up in the mountain. Overall was a good visit housekeeping sure did clean well I have a infant and i would come back to a clean room was nice.

My room was immaculate. 5 stars. The breakfast was a lot bigger than I expected, and so good. 2 eggs, choice of meat, bread, and juices. The air conditioning was nice and cold (which I love), slept like a baby.

The staff is phenomenal. Elise at the front desk was so welcoming, professional and patient with us. She is a gem! The room was absolutely beautiful! It gives villa vibes! The view is amazing, both day and night. Postcard worthy views!

We booked the room at the last minute and very happy with the hotel. Check-in was easy, room was clean and comfortable, restaurant was very nice and food was delicious, and the view was amazing.

The views arei phenomenal! The stairs… not so much 😳. I would not recommend for folks with challenges walking or balancing. The hotel is HIGH on a mountain and the rooms are layered on the mountainside so you are required to walk a lot of stairs depending on your room location.

The view was amazing. The open air restaurant view was wonderful although I only had the included breakfast which was OK. I believe I stayed in the smallest room which I do not recommend unless aesthetics doesn't mean much to you. The room was very small, no place to relax except the bed and the shower/bathroom was awkward. Bring mosquito repellent.

The hotel is known for its views which are wonderful. However, the room was clean, but television was hard to work, sink had no drain catch, and no surface areas in the bathroom to place items. Would have appreciated a coffee pot because no coffee available until 8 AM.
