This was our first visit to St. John, and I honestly don’t think we could’ve chosen a better place to stay. The resort exceeded expectations across the board. One of my favorite features was the west-facing infinity pool—perfect for catching those unforgettable sunsets. I was also pleasantly surprised to find free weights in the gym and a sauna on-site. That was a huge bonus! The in-room Keurig with dark roast coffee was also an unexpected treat!
Property is beautiful and well kept. All employees are very nice and approachable. We only used the main/bar pool and outdoor shower when returning from the beach, but the other pool, hot tubs and cold plunge looked awesome. It was a great surprise to have an ice machine and radio/record player in the room. I appreciated the tresemme shampoo & conditioner and cucumber body wash. The food was fantastic, from the lunch/happy hour options poolside or the luxurious dinner at the Aerial restaurant. We are already talking about a return trip!
The Saint
On Expedia the saint is being marketed as a luxury hotel. $1000 a night. All 3 hot tubs didn’t work. The water was like warm at best. The jets didn’t work. The gym was basically a closet and the pulley system was stuck and didn’t work.
* 2x4 in the sliding glass patio door because it never locked. Our first night there we had no 2x4 so we were completely exposed in an unsecured room.
* We lost power 3 days n our room but the bar and restaurant has power and kept running with no issues meanwhile we were in a room with no power, no air flow and the bathroom window didn’t have a crank on it to open. We also couldn’t open the patio door because there was no screen.
* We had to pool shower outside in public. Since we were walking in the dark my wife tripped on a 3 inch lip going into the community bathroom and broke her toenail and cut her toe. Once again no lights because the power was out. One night we actually tried to sleep out by the pool so we could breathe. We only lasted a few hours and the had to try and go back to our room.
* No water to flush the toilet.
* Had to use the outdoor pool toilets which also had no power so we had to use the bathroom in complete darkness with zero air flow.
* The sauna was broken and the Sauna shower didn’t work.
* Soap dispenser was broken.
* Baseboard on the bathroom was rotting away.
* Zero cabinets. No lights in the closet.
* They didn’t clean the room 2 days.
* I actually had to clean and vacuum our room 3 times
Property was amazing and close to Cruz Bay for entertainment and food. Bed was very comfortable and the amenities that the hotel had were wonderful! Will for sure stay again!!
The Hotel is amazing, it has clean pools and Jacuzzis. The room I got was perfect and the bed was very comfortable. The brunch was very amazing as well and the staffs was very friendly and helpful.
Amazing boutique hotel! Perfect for couples—we celebrated our anniversary here and had a spectacular time. Great facilities, excellent location near Cruz Bay, and delicious food at the on-site restaurant. Highly recommended!
Amazing place. We loved it some much we extended our stay just to relax a little more. The food at Aerials and the staff were spectacular. Highly recommend. Thx Eddie, Chris and Tyler for the hospitality. We will be back .
When I arrived, they didn't tell us that there was no light and that it was No water and that we would sleep in a totally hot dark room I don't discount anything thank you Santo for your great experience
The property is gorgeous. I had a hard time reaching anyone between the hours of 1:30pm and 4pm...That was a little inconvenient, but in the end the place is super nice, oh yea and the fake green carpet outside smelled like dog pee but again. the place is super new, modern and comfy.
Overall great experience - super nice property, ocean view, short walk to the beach, 2 pools. Our only complaint was that our room (The Hansen, a king suite room) was right next to the staff laundry room. The door was always open and we’d have to be careful opening our door, and staff would often be talking and hanging out right outside our door. Another thing was even during slow season (mid-August) we had a scare one night where parking was full, but luckily after driving around town for 5 mins someone had just left. So the parking isn’t really “reserved” it’s shared with day pass/restaurant guests as well.
