"The parking is a separate charge and very expensive.
And you have to tip every time your car is brought to you.
The parking isn’t that far to park yourself and save the money.
No discounts of any kind."
"I was really happy with this hotel! I was originally worried since I'm not really a Best Western kind of girl but the prices for LA hotels are terrible right now and figured it would be better to save costs and get a more affordable hotel. SureStay in Santa Monica was perfect. Safe location with free parking (huge bonus), very large spacious rooms and comfy beds. It even had free breakfast with pancakes, bagels, toast, coffee, etc. just what you need to start the day.
We were in the second building the first leg of our trip and on the second floor, which was my only issue. There's no elevator and my luggage was HEAVY but we knew this in advance. Second floor courtyard was nice and many people were working daily. The second leg of our trip we stayed in the first building on the first floor to avoid the luggage hassle and this was much better! AC was crispy (my favorite) and tv was huge. No complaints. Don't hesitant if you want a nice budget friendly hotel in Santa Monica.
If you want a nice meal nearby, try Upper West. Daniela at the front desk recommended and it was lovely."
