"We had a wonderful stay at the lodge. Very peaceful and the view of the countryside is breathtaking! The breakfast was delicious and our hosts made sure we had everything needed. Loved the bar cabinet and the selection of gin, whisky, beer and wine. It was great to take a gin and tonic and a whisky after our long drive. We did not want to leave 😃, we would of stayed longer! "On arrival allocated 506 room one of the turret rooms with steps I tripped up on step the light was dim and could no see the steps went to reception and and this was rectified room 507 which was better standard and very happy staff were great enjoyed I stay at royal hotel only twice a year and they look after me very well and I will cotinue to keep going and recommend to my friends"

I had opted for a room with shared bathroom which was spotless and close to the room. The accommodation is incredibly close to almost anything you could want and a short walk away from the train and bus stations. "
