What a delightful place to stay. The food was excellent, room was very well maintained. Be aware, you will not be in a town so you'll need a car to get around. We walked to the beach one morning and the island is quite pretty.

We had a wonderful stay at Glenegedale House. Emma and Graham are lovely hosts. The house and surrounding area is stunningl. We enjoyed cocktails in the evening and the breakfasts were superb. We can no longer have porridge without Lafroaig. When you stay at Glenegedale House you feel as if you're visiting family. Thank you Emma and Graham!

It is obvious how much care and attention into making the property so beautiful and warm. The property itself was a site to visit. The food and presentation of the food was equally lovely and delicious. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. Our room had a double bed. It was good space for a couple with not too much luggage. Would stay here again. Islay is so beautiful and worth the trip. Thank you Emma and Graham!

The hosts were marvelous ad the setting spectacular. We were met with coffee and muffins on check-in and a wonderful breakfast in the morning. The Island speaks for itself as well even though it definitely was NOT Tourist season in January!

You simply will be hard pressed to find a nicer B and B anywhere. The hosts have literally put their heart and soul into providing accommodations and stays that enhance your beautiful Islay visit. Everywhere we went, locals were in agreement with how pleasant and hard working the hosts were. A few lamented that only guests could experience the dining experience offered at Glenegedale house. They are both incredibly hard working and involved in improving Islay for visitors and locals alike. You will not be disappointed should you be lucky enough to book one of these rooms.
