「It didn't look like much from the outside, but our room was surprisingly clean. Unfortunately, it was VERY noisy with high amounts of traffic going right by the room. There were extremely bright lights right outside the door that made it look like daylight even at night. I have a really hard time sleeping with noise and light. The A/C had a very loud ROAR every time it turned on. However, the straw that broke the camel's back was the "continental" breakfast that was offered. The coffee...

「Never came to clean room in 4 days. Pool was closed. Had to go downstairs and ask for more toilet paper. Only 2 towels in room.」

「It was misrepresented as to what it was. We checked out 2 days early and was not refunded but for 1. It cost us an extra 400 for our trip as a result. The management passed the buck on the refund and blamed on Expedia. Expedia blamed the hotel. It was a matchbox room that was nasty and unclean. I will never use Expedia or book with a days inn again」

「I never made it to breakfast until the last day & there were only remnants. I saw chocolate hostess cakes & some of what was left of cereal in the containers. Beds were comfortable, staff was nice but our bathroom light over mirror flickered or never worked & the test/reset buttons never kicked in for the hairdryer to work. This was much more affordable than staying up the mountain in Franklin or Highlands, but the light/hairdryer made it hard to get ready. No towel replacement on our 2nd night....

「Very nice stay. Loved the area. Sat in the cool air on the front porch in a rocking chair after a long day's drive. Frank was an excellent host. Quiet at night. 」

「The location was nice and a great view. Staff at the front desk were very good and accommodating. The continental breakfast was okay. Parking was convenient. Where they lack is in cleanliness, floors were so dirty. The pillow had a bad odor when I took the cover off it was yellow and had mold. I reported it to the front desk. The chair in the room was stained badly. The bedcover had a smell and were humid. With that alone I would not return or recommend this place」

「This placs is absolutely amazing. Its nice and quiet and the beauty of the water and the comfort of the rooms are definitely some reasons that we will be back. There are lots of places to eat and entertainment in the surrounding area. We had a kitchenette and it had everything we needed had we decided to cook and eat in the room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. 」

「Brought my Siser here for her birthday. We both loved it. Loved our room overlooking the river. The staff was wonderful and welcoming and the kitty stretched out on the front desk was a special added treat. The room was clean and spacious. I can't say enough of the Helendorf. I do know we can't wait to return.」

「The Hotel was on the edge of town, but was in reasonable walking distance to many attractions, shops, and restaurants. It is beside the river so there isn't a ground floor and there is only one elevator, so please be patient. The staff was helpful, breakfast bar was good, and it has access to the river and a pool.」
