The room has very poor sound insulation. Starting from 9 am, I could hear loud noises from the cleaning staff pushing carts back and forth along the hallway.

「The room was very clean and modern. The staff was friendly. The hallway outside my room was overwhelmingly aromatic. I'm one of those people who doesn't handle strong perfumy smells very well but it was just in the hallway and not in my room. And that's better than a stale smoky smell to be sure.
