「Staff were extremely friendly but facility is old and outdated! Carpet appears worn and dirty. Leaky ceilings.」

「We weren't able to check in until late due to all day travel. We got there with kids half asleep and trying to hold them plus a cart of luggage, they sent us up to a room that had not been cleaned! There was trash in the baskets, soap was opened and used, countertops dirty...and we had to pack back up the bags onto the luggage cart and haul everything with kids back downstairs! The lady apologized, but had to get help to figure out how to switch out rooms. The breakfast was pretty pitiful, and...

「I wish I had known about the major renovations before I booked this hotel. Construction started early in the morning so I was woken up before 8 AM every morning to some kind of beeping going on outside of my window. All ice machines are down so being on the fifth floor I had to take the elevator down every time I wanted ice and ask the front desk to fill my bucket which was a major inconvenience. And with all the renovations going on the place, just looks like a war zone. I’m sure once they’re...

「Bad area unclean rooms」

「The Russell is a cute and unique hotel. I love the stained glass windows, they really stand out. Management was so communicative and welcoming, and made sure the check-in and checkout processes were super simple. The room had everything we needed and I loved the smart tv so I could stream my movies. I would definitely stay there again and have recommended this hotel to my friends!」

「This was an absolute VIBE of an experience! We reserved The Muse and it was PERFECT. I thought I was gonna have an issue not having a standup shower, but it was actually not a challenge at all and quite enjoyable to use the deep soak tub. The vibe at night was cool too, with a Tenor Saxophonist and Guitarist downstairs playing. 20/10 - can’t think of another place to stay that would’ve been better.」

「We had the honeymoon suite, which was fantastic.It was huge and appropriately decorated for the era. The grounds aren't huge, but they're very well maintained. It's in a very convenient location to pretty much anywhere around nashville. The breakfast each morning was fantastic.」
