「the room was warm comfortable and spotless The room overlooked the road but the room was very quiet nor could you hear any noise from the bar area down stairs we both slept really well 」

「Room 3 was really spacious, more like a suite with comfortable sofa and armchair and low table too. The many pictures on the wall were tasteful. The bath was particularly good!」

「Room.was very clean with a few little extra touches. Staff were very helpful. Not luxurious but perfectly acceptable for a couple of nights. Breakfast was good for an extra payment. Convenient location for town. Would definitely use again. 」

「Excellent staff. We were delayed by bad weather and arrived late, just as the chef told reception that he’d finished service. He immediately asked what we’d like to eat and prepared us a great dinner. The general manager and breakfast waitress were also very helpful and friendly. 」

「The Bridge is a very well-run establishment with great staff and good food. The rooms are excellent - clean and tidy and well furnished. The bar and dining areas are overdue re-decoration, otherwise it would be a 5-star review, but hopefully we can drum up more customers so there will be money to spend. The staff are friendly and welcoming and clearly work very, very hard.」
