A special short break.

Very pleased with our stay here. Spacious bedroom, lovely en suite, big choice on all menus, beautifully cooked. All staff very friendly, especially Amanda, who went above and beyond to assist us.. Pensioners! Only one thing to note. Heating hadn't been put on, so rooms rather chilly..bath towels didn't dry. This should have been noted by manager. Would definitely recommend.

Highly recommended Medieval Inn! A special place!

Gorgeous Medieval country inn! Lovely comfortable, and well appointed room! Great friendly service, and good restaurant with excellent locally sourced menu. Great parking, and also outdoor dining . Breakfast highly recommended! Intend to return!

No Heat

The hotel is beautiful and historic. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. I want very much to give Green Man a great review, unfortunately we had no heat during our stay. We had two rooms, one for my wife and I, and another for my 85yo father-in-law. Neither rooms had heat. The weather had been cold and neither room got above 55 degrees during our stay. I report

Lovely place to stay

Food here is excellent quality, good beer selection and very friendly professional staff. Have stayed 3 times so far and will be staying plenty more times. This is the place we have chosen to stay when on business in the area. There are also some great walks in the area and a nice well stocked local shop

This was a really lovely, quaint pub in a perfect rural setting. The beer garden area captured the sun all day. Breakfast was great. The entrance to use in the evening could be lit up better as it felt unsafe being alone. The cleanliness of the rooms also needs to be reviewed as it let it down. The bed was lovely and comfy with great pillows and fluffy duvet. I would stay again.

The food was excellent - there were some interesting and unusual options and our choices were beautifully cooked and presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Lots of hot water. The rooms are all different, ours was very comfortable.

Lovely period pub

Beautiful period pub in a very nice setting. Clean, well cared for with a lot of period/nice touches to decor. Lovely large room with a shower and a separate bath. Very good made to order breakfast. Staff - pleasant, helpful and engaged. The only negative was no food after 8pm - which is when we arrived - and no other options in the locale. So arrive early if you want to eat there.
