"The hotel is a gem, full of character, great location and offers parking.
We were unable to extend our king room prior to arrival so booked a classic for the additional night. At check-in they managed to upgrade the classic at no extra charge so we wouldn't have to change room mid-stay. Would definitely stay again."
"We had a great short break at the Queen’s Hotel. Perfectly located, with decent car parking and lovely large rooms. The breakfast was excellent and the free homemade cookies were a nice touch. Overall, a great place to stay for a family getaway."
"Everything about this place is FANTASTIC - the location, the staff, the rooms, etc. I wish that all the places I've stayed in as I've traveled around England were as nice as this place! Definitely worth a stay if you're going to Gloucester."
"The hotel is excellent other than the restaurant. We stay here regularly on the way to Devon. We tried the restaurant on the way and it wasn't good. Tried again on the way back with 10%discount and had to send the meal back. Next time we stay in July we will dine at the premier inn/beafeater 10mins away
Otherwise all was good"
"Here’s a more natural and polished version of your review:
My stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham was fantastic. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. I particularly appreciated having an iron and ironing board in the room, as this is not something I often find in other hotels.
The complimentary bottles of water were a nice touch, and the tea and coffee-making facilities were excellent. The hotel offered a great selection of coffee and high-quality tea, which I really enjoyed.
Although I experienced a minor issue with the bathroom, it was resolved within five minutes, which reflects the hotel’s excellent customer service and attention to guests’ needs.
The hotel is a wonderful place to relax while also serving as an ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds and the surrounding areas. Its location is excellent, and the free parking makes it easy to travel around and visit nearby attractions.
Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding service."
