"Beautiful venue and rooms were lovely, unfortunately the bed wasn’t very comfortable which was a shame, it looked like 2 divans had been put together to make a king size and there was a hard beam running down the middle of the bed. It didn’t ruin the stay it was just a bit disappointing for such a lovely place. However the cleanliness was top notch and I felt happy overall."

"Where do I start! We stayed here 4 years ago and it was marvellous.it was thriving ,busy, Bustling . This time when we arrived we was told check in your car else you’ll get a fine ( great fair enough.) Then sign in and il take a card off you just in case your room gets trashed! Wow! We’re in our 60’s definitely not rock stars, id rather watch telly than chuck it out of the window! The chap then said it’s so busy here because of the bank holiday ( Monday) that the dining room may not have space / to book in as soon as possible! We didn’t want to dine in as we went into the town anyway. Breakfast was 7-9 again because it was busy . Room was comfortable and clean but tired! Creaky floor boards . Went down to breakfast at 8am not a soul to be seen. There was a list of how many rooms booked for breakfast. They were so busy yeah. 5! 3 had already been and gone! We waited a good 5 minutes before we even saw anyone. Then we had breakfast which was nice but instead of buffet it was given to us plated . On leaving an hour later.took cards back to reception. Not a word . We won’t be back again! Travel lodge cheaper £ 97 I didn’t expect the world but much better than what we got"

"Booked the stay last minute for the Jazz Festival,and so glad we chose Malmaison. Alex at the front desk was fantastic,friendly and very welcoming and we were also able to park in the underground garage. We stayed in a Club deluxe room which was amazing,overall couldn’t fault anything,this hotel will now be our go to hotel in Cheltenham."

"We had a fantastic stay here to celebrate my Wife's birthday. Hotel is located really close to all Malvern facilities like the theatre, shopping, evening entertainment and access to the hills. We booked the "delixe apartment" but internally atvthe hotel this is known as the "Hideaway" It is actually a 3 bedroom apartment with beautiful period features like dormer windows bit the important elements have been lovingly refurbished recently. Beautiful master bedroom with comfy bed, quality bedding, modern shower room with rainfall power shower, separate modern toilet, beautiful lounge area and a fridge and tea and coffee facilities. Sweets and chocolates along eith biscuits were left in the room too. The apartment is at the very top of the 150 year old building and offers views across the hills. The staff we met at the hotel seemed genuinely interested in making our stay a positive one, wishing my wife a happy birthday, giving advice for bars and restaurants in the area, detailing walking routes across the hills and allowing us to use the small onsite car park. Breakfast is lovely and ordered from a menu but the times are quite prompt and early, especially for a weekend with a 9.30 finish and 9am on weekdays. I understand a family run hotel wants to focus the breakfast period but some guests will find (and did find) it a struggle to make it on time! Cooked Breakfast consisted of good quality, i assume, local ingredients, with some nice home made muesl. We will return."

"Ants in the bedroom and on the bed"

"No hot water and when we arrived (it had clearly been an issue as we heard other guests talk about it) no one mentioned it. Someone from our party went to ask reception and they were very dismissive. The next day still no hot water, I understand they couldn’t have fixed it there and then but they could if been proactive is telling us and offering to try and fix it."
