The villas are beautiful charming little suites with the bedroom and bathroom in an upstairs loft. The gardens and pool are all very enchanting and well kept. The location is perfect- on a very quiet street but everything you need is right aground the corner. Very close to the town center. Perfect stay! 」

My room was on the 4th floor and had a terrific view of the pier where the cruise ships came in, but was just far enough away so as not to be inundated with ship passengers. 「We had great ocean view. There is no beach near by. It is mostly docking area with rocks. So called beach about 2 miles away is rocky too and not beach at all. Food is very expensive and mostly Mexican. But, I did find two amazing Italian and one Indian restaurant. Very aggressive to get Tips in motel, market and all around. Not much help to guide to get there from Cancun airport, what to do around, etc. Visited two best snorkeling spots. Nothing impressive with quality of corral and sea life....

「We visited Blue Angel for a week. The dive shop is located on property. You walk to the end of the dock to catch the boat each morning. Shore diving is included The restaurant is excellent. Friendly staff who make it a point to learn your names & welcome you each time you visit. We ate the majority of our meals at the resort because of the excellent food and laid-back atmosphere. We truly felt like VIPs! (Special shout out to Diego, Armando, & Jared) We enjoyed a made to order breakfast...

「Excellent stay. Very comfortable room and shared spaces. We rented a scooter a few days directly from the property which was very convenient. Location is a little away from downtown which we found to be more quiet. Felt safe walking around even at night. There are several great food options within a few blocks. Would definitely stay again when in the area. 」

「Hotel Mary Carmen is a beautiful hotel which exceeded our expectations! Location is safe, quiet, very walkable (5min from the ferries, 1min from the plaza), and easy to find upon arrival. We loved the old-fashioned style with shared living spaces, and the garden and turtles. We appreciated the free water refill jugs on each floor and the first aid kits free for use. Our room was large (we got a free upgrade) and clean, had great wifi, quiet and functional AC unit, tidy bathroom, and good water...

「Very nice find! Nice staff, great rooms, clean and well organized with view on the central area. Not sure if the inner courtyard was under renos but there was a number of construction tools and material that could have been cleaned up. Would go again!」
