Both the house and garden are stunning, full of charm and quiet beauty. Breakfast was such a treat, especially looking out over the ocean. We felt completely spoiled the entire time. A truly special place we’d happily return to."

"The property itself was really run down. Old carpets, unpleasant smell, room was below mid. No a/c so had to have the windows open which left zero privacy. Anyone walking by could see into the room. But the perks were it was right next to the beach, down the street from downtown and inexpensive. Parking was right in front. "

"It’s in a good location, but the walk to the aquarium is further than I anticipated from their write up. The room felt dated and cheap. Repairs to the walls look like they were done by a child. The furniture is older and banged up. It did not feel special in any way. In my experience, I would compare it more to a budget motel than a nice hotel in Monterey. I would choose somewhere different next time."
