We stayed one night at Centrella Hotel on July 20th and had a private cottage, which we liked for its side street access. Unfortunately, that was the highlight. The interior felt very old and neglected. The towels were damp and not clean, the carpets smelled and were dirty, and the bed was uncomfortable. Even the sheets didn’t feel clean, which made it hard to relax.
The complimentary champagne in the lobby was a nice touch, but the WiFi was slow. Breakfast was basic—coffee, tea, orange juice, muffins, bagels, and yogurt parfait—but nothing memorable.
With some much-needed updates and attention to cleanliness, this place could be a gem. Until then, we wouldn’t stay again.
