「Clean and safe , easy to find the motel. not far away from ferry」

「Our stay here was perfect— 5 mins from the ferry to Mackinac, very clean and modern interior, and check in/out was quick and easy! This is a perfect place to stay, we didn’t mind it being on the smaller side as we spent most of our trip out and about. For the price you cannot beat this especially compared to other surrounding options! 」

「Super clean bathroom and sleeping area. The exterior is a throwback to the 60s motorcourt era but that hides a modern, comfortable room. The manager/owner was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to our friends.」

「Great location! Comfy rooms! Good breakfast. Fun beach n bar- beach needs work at waters edge - too rocky to enjoy water. Staff was excellent! Beverly and Cherie helped us on many different levels- very helpful and enjoyable!」

「Room was exceptionally clean. Staff were all incredibly nice and helpful. Hotel is conveniently located next to the ferry parking lot, so it’s easy to hop on the shuttle to the ferry, or it’s a quick 0.5 mile walk. Mexican place next door has great tacos too!」

「The Lighthouse View Motel surpassed our expectations. My friends and I spent four nights there, and it was the best experience we've ever had. The place is very clean and safe, and the staff is very friendly. It feels like a family. We also learned a lot about our daily itinerary and other activities in the area. I highly recommend this place, and it is well worth the price. I give this motel 10 stars and two thumbs up!」

「Overall, it's a great find, on the beach, beautiful view, nice room with a hottub and nice king size bed. The property is rather old but well maintained and clean. My only slight complaint was a bit of noise, probably from the stairs over my room. But otherwise, excellent and very affordable 」

「The renovations were beautiful. One suggestion would be that you upgrade the locks on the doors to a deadbolt type. The doorknob lock left us a little concerned, also daylight could be seen coming through from around the door. Regardless, not only would we look forward to staying again, but we would also wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone interested in visiting St Ignace.」

「The location is awesome. Shepler’s ferry and downtown Mackinaw are less than a mile walk from the hotel, and it’s an easy walk. The state park lake shore and fort are a five minute walk. The hotel is clean, breakfast was awesome (eggs, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and other items). Our room was a king with couch, very spacious. The only negative: our room was on the top floor above I75. It was VERY noisy when certain vehicles would drive by on the highway. I wish I...
