The Sun runner did not run as scheduled(till 1 am on New Year's Eve/day), leaving a lot of us waiting at the bus stop until pass 2 am. Had to wait for more than an hour to get an Uber. But the firework at St. Pete beach was worth it.

"The Plaza Beach has been a staple on St Pete Beach for decades. I’ve had the pleasure of staying there on numerous occasions. This place is all about location and hospitality. It’s no frills. No restaurant, no lounge. But there are restaurants everywhere and the tiki bar is more than adequate and very affordable. Rooms are clean and the staff makes you feel you’re at the Ritz. The nostalgia and retro atmosphere is awesome. Just a great place!"
"I had a great time! There are a lot amenities in the property such as food trucks, restaurants, bars etc. The beach was absolutely gorgeous. My kids enjoyed a lot the jumping at the beach. There are always available chairs and umbrellas on the sand. The rooms need an upgrade but in general I really enjoyed staying there. A lot activities at the pool and beach. Kids will love it! "
