Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa

Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa

8/10 Good
"Our experience at Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa was truly wonderful overall. We arrived much later than expected due to inclement weather, and when we checked in, our original room was not what we had booked. However, the staff immediately stepped in to address the situation. A very special thank you to Ashley in management, who upgraded us to a beautiful Sandcastle Villa with an oceanfront view, which was exactly the type of view we had originally paid for. The villa was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and truly felt like a home away from home. The sitting area was incredibly cozy, and having such easy access to the ocean made the experience even more special. Our only significant inconvenience occurred when the elevator in our building went out. Unfortunately, this made getting around very difficult for us, especially because of the heat and because my husband had recently undergone leg surgery. As a result, we weren’t able to explore and enjoy as many of the resort’s other amenities as we had hoped. However, what stood out to us was how quickly management acknowledged our concerns and worked to rectify the situation. We truly appreciated that level of care and responsiveness. The food was absolutely delicious, and we loved the overall atmosphere of the resort. It had the peaceful, mature, relaxing ambience we were hoping for. There were no excessive waits when we wanted to eat, and everything felt comfortable and unhurried. It was the perfect resort to celebrate at."
