Cumberland Island 4 Stars Hotels

"We enjoyed our experience here. The staff were helpful and nice. They went the extra mile to make us feel special for our stay. My only issue is that the state of the facility, specifically our room was below expectation for the price point of this resort. The rooms are quite dated. Our bathroom had a sewage smell and the room in general looked quite old and tired. I know this is an older and historic property, but it felt like there were updates that could have been made to keep the historic charm while improving the guest experience. The location and the facilities and things to do are abundant. Overall I enjoyed my stay, but would be more interested in returning if there are notable improvements made to the rooms to bring them closer to modern times. 7.5/10. "

"Arrived in the evening when it was dark. Sign said Lobby on 2nd floor. Placards on wall said Lobby this way with arrows. Outdoor hallways dark as there was no lighting. Could not find lobby. Finally saw paper note on door telling me check in was virtual. Why can't there be a lobby like most hotels?"

"Luxury hotel on the beach with plenty of outside things to do. Restaurants and sweet shops are next door or within biking distance. Willets restaurant in the hotel is the best option overall in my opinion, but it can be pricey. Fantastic location and great staff!!"
