Needs to be updated. There are way to many empty buildings, and just trashy looking places. This town gets a lot of travelers going to the islands, why is it so rundown.

The best thing about Brunswick is its proximity to St Simons and Jekyll beaches. However there are good restaurants and several nice thrift shops.

Wish there had been more family resturants. Had to drive to St Simons for seafood. Not much available within walking distance that was reasonibly priced and open for dinner.
"We had a great quick stay here. The price was excellent. The room was very clean. The breakfast was fantastic - waffles, yogurt, eggs, sausage... Staff was helpful and friendly. We will stay again when passing through."
"The lady at the front desk was very nice and knowledgeable. Our room was clean. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom needed some updates. The faucet was pulled out from the wall in the shower. Overall we had a great stay!"
"Very nicely maintained hotel. The room are all suites. We stayed in a two queen room. Full kitchen. The bedroom is in a separate room from the living room, kitchen and dining. This provides privacy if someone wants turn in early. The breakfast offering was nice. "
"I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, especially considering the reasonable price. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure a comfortable visit. The breakfast was above average, with a good variety of fresh and tasty options—definitely a highlight!
That said, the hotel could benefit from some renovations. While everything was clean and functional, the furnishings and decor felt a bit dated, and some areas showed signs of wear. A refresh would elevate the overall experience.
For the price, though, it’s an excellent choice, and the outstanding service and breakfast make up for the need for updates. I’d happily stay here again! "
"The property is a great place to stay overall.
The housekeeping staff only speak Spanish but they are able to commuinicate with a phone translator. They are all sweet ladies."
