"Staff was friendly and the food was excellent in the restaurants. Bar was woefully under-staffed in the evenings. Beds were comfortable and ocean view decks were sheltered from the wind and of a nice size."

"Gym in sad shape , pool floor peeling, rooms could have been in better shape .. repairs done poorly..hair dryers melted or not working.. silicone repairs and shower head moldy in first room .. upon entering hotel you smell the mold .. probably from indoor pool? Exterior looks nice .. beds were okay but old metal frames squeaky .. tub showers were old and cracked and shower heads placed to low for taller person .. room refrigerator was iced over in the freezer part .. rooms could be nicer if properly maintained and cleaned more thoroughly.."

"The room was charming, clean and comfortable. Not like your typical big-chain hotel for sure. Convenient to the lighthouse and other historical sites. Will definitely recommend to others and am already planning g a future stay. "

"I had not been informed that the building was under construction. There was a jackhammer going non stop. The shower did not get hot and it whistled. The light in the bathroom was super dim and with the shower curtain closed it was dark. The floor was as dirty. I stayed here about 10 years ago and it was great. Sad to see it so rundown."
