"Avithos resort looks as good as the photos. Chose this resort because of the kitchenette so that I could make food in the apartment and it didn’t disappoint. "As the booking was made we had a very good instinct that this was the right property. From viewing the pictures we were not expecting the Kitchenette, we were able to eat cooked breakfasts and dinners on the balconies and made our trips easier and lighter to focus on activities. "Let's start with the only negative comment I can come up with. Yes the interior of the apartment was a little dated and fairly basic but hey you're in Greece. Everything else about this property is superb. The staff are excellent, the pool and bar is great and the hotel dog is hilarious. Guests return year after year and I can see why."

"We spent 2 weeks in August at Maria’s. Lovely apartments with beautiful surroundings and a gorgeous view. Apartments were basic but had everything we needed. There is a hairdryer (which isn’t mentioned in the description). Check in was easy, we had a late arrival and were advised in advance of our apartment number beforehand and access instructions. Housekeeping was daily and maids were very friendly. As mentioned previously, it is a steep hill up to the apartments but we found it walkable....

"This was a spectacular property in an idyllic location. The views from the balcony of the bay and harbor were fantastic. Everything had been catered for. The Reception staff (Katherina ) and management and owners were lovely and very helpful. We could ask for no more. All in all it was a perfect holiday in a perfect location with perfect facilities.
