「2nd time staying here and love it! Such a nice chilled and relaxing place. Beds are super comfy! And the breakfast alone is worth staying! 」

「Staff are really great and friendly! The room we stayed is near the alley which is noisy during the night that we couldn’t sleep well. And the pillows are flat that are not comfortable. 」

「Whilst the decor was a little dated our stay was great. Staff helpful and friendly. You can't get breakfast at The Maynard but their sister hotel on the corner was just minutes away, and you got a discount for being guests at The Maynard. Staff/Service excellent. The only thing i would say is my friend was unable to take a bath or shower as there was not a slip mat to assist in their safety.」

「The room was ok,but you could smell kitchen odours in the bathroom . The evening meals were poor, alot of the meals did not have the ingredients and the meals were poorly cooked. Lacked organisation 」

「Beautiful place to stay with luxurious rooms and a great location. Didn't realise though that there was no breakfast on offer - was a bit inconvenient. But otherwise a great place to stay.」

「Room was not cleaned on 2 days, breakfast quality was good but service disorganised, was 1st into Breakfast last to be served. Another room was broken into in middle of night, police also had to attend following night. This was my third staying at the Waves, last 2 years excellent but this year was very poor, have cancelled booking for next year. Two other couples who have been staying each year also not booking for next year. A real shame the change from last year 」

「Unclean and run down. Breakfast tasted cheap for £38 for 2 adults and a toddler. Strange setup and nothing like what was advertised. Extremely heavy and fast shutting doors, no good for little fingers in a family bedroom.」

「Tired and in need of care and refurbishment. Parking limited and not easy access. Room showing signs of damp in bathroom. Entry door damaged and needed repair to gain access. Plus side hot water supply very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Disappointed after good cooked breakfast at the weekend Monday morning continental breakfast, which consisted of dry, stale mini croissants and pain au chocolat, no chese or cold meats(available at the weekend) and hot drinks machine not working. 」
