"Loved: Spacious room with a sea view, comfortable bed, 25 minute walk into town, free parking, friendly staff, nice welcome drink, great breakfast Opportunities: check-in process was poor with us leaving the hotel and coming back as we thought there had to be another entrance as no one was available, the shower head soaked the bathroom as water was spouting in all different directions"

"Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was basic but comfortable and clean bed very comfortable slept well.Dining room was clean and pleasant with lovely staff, for a continental breakfast there was plenty to eat. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again really enjoyed ourselves."

"For the price we paid, this was excellent! The hotel is stunning when you walk in, the rooms were nicely decorated, if a little grubby but we weren’t expecting 5*. The beds were really comfy. I’m not sure what the rooms would be like in summer as there was no heating or air conditioning and windows didn’t open much. The bars ares were excellent too! Staff were really nice, didn’t seem the best trained in hospitality, which surprised me for a Britannia Hotel but still, we weren’t put off - maybe some staff had called in sick and they were covering? We’d definitely return. "
