「Great location for exploring Scarborough. Breakfast definitely a cut above the average. Our room was quite snug (I guess a result of The Waves being in an older building).」

「We stayed over for the concert at the open air. The hotel was clean and well maintained- all the staff were polite and friendly. Our room was clean. The bar was lovely and the restaurant and breakfast was perfect. The en-suite was very small but clean. The only thing that would have meant full star rating would have been a better parking arrangement, - a quality mattress and blackout curtains. That being said we would definitely stay here again.」

「Arrived to be given a key and parking disc , friendly but nobody overnight at a reception, big room but found it very noisy with the seagulls and road noise as single glazed windows , tap wobbly and no waste cover in shower , should have unplugged the fridge as noisy at night on and off , no plug point near the dressing table so couldn’t see when drying hair , did smell like a greasy spoon !!!」

「Staff are really great and friendly! The room we stayed is near the alley which is noisy during the night that we couldn’t sleep well. And the pillows are flat that are not comfortable. 」

「The bedroom & en suite were very tastefully decorated, with the decor exactly to our taste! The Bella Rose coffee shop was used throughout our stay & the staff were very welcoming & accommodating. The 15% discount was used each time we ate there which was a bonus as thought it might be a one-off. Peasholm Park on the doorstep was a huge plus too! My only criticism of our stay was that I made the owners aware that I was allergic to fur & feathers beforehand & I particularly queried any cushions...

「Hotel was ok, cleaning standards need to be improved, room servicing needs to be better and no AC in rooms just fans. There is no parking and you need to get a permit from the sister hotel, if they give it to you, permit cost £10 for day and expires at 1:30pm next day. Staff wer helpful at reception and bar, however drinks cost were high. Proximity to main areas was fantastic.」

「After reading some bad reviews I was a little sceptical about here but to my delight I was very happy n amazed at the lodge we stayed in very clean had everything needed. The staff was very welcoming and happy to help in anyway. The toilets - well i walked in said "wow" best toilets iv seen anywhere. All in all this site is n was a good choice n I will be going bk..thank you to all the staff for a lovely stay x」

「I was very disappointed with my stay at Green Gables Hotel. The building is extremely tired and in desperate need of renovation. The communal areas felt neglected, with stained carpets, dated décor, and an unpleasant musty smell that gave a poor first impression. The room was very basic and didn't match the expectations set by the photos online.
