"Good value for money. Walking distance to train network to downtown etc. Buy all day ticket and visit all the sights, very cheap way to get around as parking downtown is expensive. Breakfast basic but enough."

"I arrived with some skepticism—particularly due to my usual concerns about cleanliness and pests—but this property exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was impeccably clean, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the hot tub was well-maintained and spotless. Complimentary breakfast is offered, which is a great added value, although we chose not to take advantage of it due to our focus on eating healthy. While I noticed some guests mentioning noise concerns, this was not an issue for us. After spending a full day exploring San Diego and the beach, any background noise was minimal and easily managed. The room includes thoughtful touches like earplugs, and using the TV ( and they got a nice big tv ) or a fan effectively masks any outside sound. Even as a light sleeper, and with our room located directly across from the clubs, I slept comfortably without disruption. Overall, if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-kept place to stay, I would highly recommend this property. I was genuinely impressed and will absolutely be returning in the near future."

"Nice place right on the beach. It's old but it had everything we needed. My kids loved the ping pong table while we BBQed. Nice fire pit to sit by and enjoy the evening. There is a grocery store right across the street if you forgot anything. I would recommend this place if you are not looking for fancy."

"The property was very pretty and well maintained. The room was very clean and housekeeping did awesome. The only thing was that the room was very very dated. They did have a few rooms under remodel so very sure they are updating. Great location as well!"

"Rooms need renovating. Toilet not secured to the floor. Water leaked all over the counter from handle of faucet when water was turned on in the sink. Staff was friendly, but really no amenities to speak of. Vending machines down the hall we’re quite expensive. Swimming pool was one block away at a sister hotel. Would not stay here again and would not recommend. The only positive was the location, one block away from the ocean."
