"Great location to spend time at the beach (5 min walk), visit nearby colleges, and eat at a variety of restaurants in La Jolla. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Lindsay. Towels are clean but not as white as other Hotels; so if bleached white towels are important to you then this is not the place for you. Standard complimentary hot breakfast. Husband was disappointed that they did not have hot Oatmeal, just instant Oatmeal. Overall we were happy at this hotel. "

"Front roll view of an amazing beach! At ground level! Worth the daily collection of kayaks, paddle boats, swimmers, SCUBA, and Surfers hit the waves. Different vibe from La Jolly yet close enough to visit that too. Great selection of shops, restaurants in a 4 block street, home to many different yet unique The hotel is a classic, and a great part of our stay in the San Diego! "
