Close to the coast. Close to shops and food. Expect some street noise till 11pm or so. Room was clean. Helpful staff. Very convenient 24/7 store. Rooftop bar/resturant has great views but average food. Room AC was noisy. Would recommend and would stay there again.

Amazing!!!! Megan at the counter was amazing! The only complaint I have is that there needs to be more staff.. Megan was incredibly busy when I came to check in. The check in process was super easy and convenient but i waited an hour and 45 mins until i could go to my room because Megan had to move valet cars, move a golf cart the owner wanted moved 1 foot, inspect/ spot check several rooms, check in other guests, handle phones.. etc

ROOM and HOTEL have very very thin walls. I asked upon check-in I was requesting a quiet room I stayed in Room #305. It was HORRIBLE, TINY, and SUPER noisy. You can hear everyone going up and down the stairs to roof top restaurant AND the kitchen located behind my bed. Workers, music, dishes, running up and down to the restaurant. I asked to be moved for the second night and they did nothing.

Room was clean, the view from the balcony was amazing, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Only small downside was the noise of the restaurant right above, but that was to be expected and wasn’t too bad. Overall, a wonderful experience!

The location is excellent, but unfortunately the service fell short. The staff seemed overwhelmed. When we arrived, no one was present at the valet stand, so we had no idea what to do with all our luggage. The front desk staff didn’t seem concerned, and when I asked how the valet worked, the woman there simply said I could leave the car key. They also advised reaching out 15 minutes before departure and provided a text message number for any questions. So I requested the car through text message, but there were no replies. No one answered the in-room phone, and even after calling from my cell phone for 20 minutes, no one picked up. I ultimately had to go to the front desk myself. After trying for over 30 minutes, I finally received my car. Heaven and Megan were wonderful, but the other staff member I encountered was very unfriendly. I booked a Grand Room, Sea View (King) because it was supposed to be more spacious than the balcony sea-view option. However, the room was on the 1st floor, and the street noise was extremely disruptive—especially the garbage truck, which was out front for nearly two hours on both Saturday and Sunday starting at 6 a.m. I truly hope they improve the overall service, as the property itself is so lovely.

Great location, and clean, renovated rooms. Loved the roof top restaurant and bar. Staff was helpful. Had no problem with street parking (over holiday weekend). Downsides (pretty minor): Echo other comments about noise and recommend getting room away from the restaurant (although there will still be street noise). Also, the hotel is small and thus short staffed. Check-in took a long time, and some days our rooms simply weren't cleaned (despite a promise of daily service). Requests for things like a new pillow simply went unfulfilled, despite several attempts. Overall good experience. Would recommend.

I choose this Hotel for location, it was perfect, we valeted the car for convenience, I had read parking was a problem. This solved it for an extra $35. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Only thing missing is a suitcase rack. This is a must have in a hotel w any size room. Please provide this. I would love to come back! I live in Maui, but I love San Diego and La Jolla. The girls at the desk, could Not be sweeter! Good job on the hiring! Good employee’s are hard to find!! Everyone seems happy working there! That’s a plus!!

Yes but we were charged more than the final quote on Travelocity and when I asked for them to correct my bill she said it was correct what was quoted on Travelocity has incorrect taxes. Also we were one flight up from the lobby and they do not have an elevator? The staff immediately asked to help us with our bags when they saw we are in our late 70s.
