Location, location is great!! A few blocks from seal cove and great view of the ocean from our balcony. Basically within walking distance to everything in LaJolla. We used Valet parking which worked perfectly for us. The Birds Eye View rooftop bar was a nice spot to enjoy delicious cocktails or to grab a bite to eat. There was a glitch with the air conditioning on the 2nd floor for several nights. However, management made it right once made aware of the issue. Had no issue with noise from the rooftop bar as mentioned in previous comments. Enjoyed the espresso machine in the room and coffee on the 2nd floor hallway daily. Beds were comfortable and room cleaned daily. There is a little convenience store attached to the hotel which is open 24/7. Nice to pick-up drinks or snacks as needed. Staff were very professional, helpful and pleasant. I would recommend for those who enjoy smaller, quaint more personal hotels. Please note: there is no elevator. Staff offered their help and assistance as needed. Would stay again when we return to LaJolla.

We stayed at room 101 got 4 days but I had to leave second day because they gave us room that was incredibly noisy bring Unser the market and was not able to sleep for 2 nights and had to Check out and get another hotel so we could sleep. It was brought up twice and no one really cared. I don’t recommend the hotel at all

incredible location right in La Jolla cove! walking distance to most areas for sight seeing, restaurants, etc. the staff was very nice. the rooms were small & the noise was a bit annoying at times.

The room was very comfortable and nice. Appeared to be well kept. The only issue or not so great things where the bed was uncomfortable, the room didn’t have a microwave and parking was basically nonexistent unless you valet at a rate of $35 per day.

We have high standards, so here goes: Location: amazing. Staff: very friendly. Comfort: not good. Room was not cleaned by 5pm which seemed very unprofessional considering we left the room at 7am. Pillows were not pillows, they felt like ripped up pieces of cotton put in a bag. Very uncomfortable sleep. Amenities; The rooftop restaurant drinks were superb, special mention to Sahar the bartender. Food was great when it arrived hot, which it didn’t most of the time. This place has great potential…they just need to work out the kinks.

The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The location is perfect. Only complaint is that we were in the room under the rooftop bar and you can VERY clearly hear them moving chairs and furniture around and speaking when they close at night.

The room was very small, but big enough for a short stay, pretty and very clean. For the. price we paid on a very busy day, we were happy. The staff seemed very busy, but were still polite and helpful. The location is perfect for people who want to walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops in just a couple of minutes. lovely rootop, ocean view dining.

Overall, my stay was pleasant, but noise was an issue. I was on the third floor directly below the rooftop bar, and the ceilings and walls seemed quite thin. Whenever chairs or tables were moved upstairs, the sound was surprisingly loud in my room. The bar closes at 8 PM, so the noise stopped around then, but it started again around 7 AM the next morning (maybe cleaning?). I was also woken up at night by the sound of the neighboring guests entering their room. I’m a fairly light sleeper, so this may not bother everyone. The hotel does provide earplugs, which is a thoughtful touch, but they didn’t do much to block the sound of furniture being moved. If you’re sensitive to noise, you may want to request a room away from the rooftop bar.
