Secrets Tulum Resort & Beach Club - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"My husband and I stayed here for 8 days, from August 23rd to August 31st, and we truly had the best time! We also got married at the resort and had the most beautiful ceremony there. Everything was absolutely wonderful! Everyone, from Jennifer, our wedding planner, to Arturo, our personal butler, was amazing. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, and responsive whenever we had questions or needed anything. The entire staff was so kind, welcoming, and resourceful throughout our stay. There’s some stores nearby that you can check out also (ex: 7-11, pharmacy, restaurants) located up the street (3-5 minute) walk from the hotel. If you want to book an excursion they already have a company there that has excursions available that you can book that come with a lot of goodies. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for such a special trip and wedding. We made so many beautiful memories here and would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone looking for an amazing getaway or destination wedding!"

"This has been the best vacation ever! Everything was included, drinks and food were to die for. The staff is extremely nice and always greeted us. The amenities are excellent and there are plenty on included activities to do. We’ll definitely return!"

"The property was beautiful, extremely clean and most of the staff were fantastic! We upgraded to the “Privileged” level and thought we would have access to the day beds and comfortable loungers at the beach as we had seen on the website. This was not the case, you instead have to join their program that is similar to a time share in order to enjoy those benefits. Although the beach was beautiful and well maintained, there was construction done almost every day of our stay. It could have been done either early morning or perhaps around dinner times when the beach was not being utilized by guests. When I approached a team member to inquire I was dismissed and not offered anything for out poor experience. The great things about the resort is the food and drinks at Bloved (only for Privileged guests), and the Italian restaurant. We did not enjoy the buffet, steakhouse or Asian restaurant. We also encountered some amazing staff members! Caroline at the spa, David and Maria at Bloved, Rafael at the front desk, Cenencuo and Juan at Margaritas went above and beyond!"

"We had an absolutely wonderful time here. A must visit for kids too. They have not one but two water parks on campus for kids to enjoy. Every à la carte restaurant had kids menu and options. The staff was so lovely and helpful. We came during seaweed season but Akumal resort that is part of the complex was just a brief walk or cart ride away and guaranteed clear thanks to their barrier. We also came during rain season but rain didn’t last and we at most had one cloudy day which was still great for a pool day. Buffet was always so delicious and well stocked. Entertainment and games for guests were great also. Kendall in particular was an absolute gem and so helpful! We will definitely try to come back in the future."

"Another trip to Catalonia in the books. This is our 2nd stay at this resort and 4th stay within the last 2 years at the Catalonia hotels (2 in costa mujeras and 2 here in puerto aventuras) The good: Staff Food Location Activities Beach front Private ocean swimming right out the back door Clean pool Grounds are immaculate! Gym is great (open earlier than 630am please) Privileged room (clean/good A/C) The hotel is 10/10 We have stayed multiple times and we have enjoyed each stay. The location is great, food and pools are excellent. Staff is top notch! Angeles, thanks for the extra attention to our room asks, you went above and beyond. Guys/gals - if you seek a clean, nice and perfectly located hotel in a quiet city - this could be the place for you. I’ve stayed at the costa Mujeras location 2 times as well- and although that location is a little more updated - this is the better of the hotels we’ve stayed at in the Catalonia family of hotels. I’ve stayed in the standard rooms and the privileged and honestly they are both great options. Clean, A/C is good and good overall service. Bad: Not sure there is much to make note of here: Maybe expand the gym hours to open earlier? I’m honestly really stretching here. The walk to the golf carts can be a little long winded at the end of a night laying by the pool - maybe have a stop a little closer? You can see I’m really stretching here. We are booked for 2027 May. See you soon."
