「The internet service was spotty during our stay (which they admitted was a problem and they were fixing it). This is the main reason I gave only 4 stars. Otherwise, I really love the place. The location on the water is great. The restaurant, when open, is also great.」

「对于中国来的小伙伴，我是非常建议来这里体验，最理想是两晚上。房车里面提供了全部餐具及厨具，而且露营车不会给你收拾房间。注意部分避雷，火堆建议买合成木料，就是大块烧4.5小时那种，一个晚上准备两块够了。路边有卖木柴的，但是业余露营的不建议买。那是高手用的，难着，火弱，易灭。如果要在营地做饭的食物要带够，虽然附近有超级市场。附近有个州立公园适合远足，时间控制在五小时左右。」

「I’ve stayed at Surrey Resort twice now and each time has been an exceptional stay. The location is right outside of downtown and walkable so you can just leave your car parked during your stay. Parking is easy with no issue finding a spot. Check in is easy while being informative as you’re staying in a tent and not a room in typical hotel. 「Stayed here for one night after a wedding in Santa Rosa and it was a perfect stopover on our way home. Room was clean, check in was easy, and it's super close to river beach areas and the best bbq place in the area!」

「advance notice on checkin should be shared earlier. The property has poor wifi- could not connect at all. I had to leave the property to connect. I have two cell phones and neither one connected. Because of limited wifi connection, you should share advance checkin code to avoid these issues upon arriving.」

「The Occidental Lodge is a very charming, old-school lodge that is well-maintained and absolutely spotless. My favorite part was that there were no smells at all in the room, which I loved!The lodge is located in a tiny, quiet town that I would describe as a micro-country town. If you are planning a weekday stay, just keep in mind that the only things open are a little market and a breakfast café that closes at 3:00 PM. 「We came in winter and we were the only one group of guest on that day. Room is not large but enough for two people. Water pressure for shower is not as good as normal hotel, which may due to their location.」

「Our room was very nice, clean, and roomy. The surrounding area was well kept, and surrounded by lush and beautiful landscaping. There were plenty of places to walk our dogs, and overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We anticipate many returns. A great big thank you to all the staff.
