「The internet service was spotty during our stay (which they admitted was a problem and they were fixing it). This is the main reason I gave only 4 stars. Otherwise, I really love the place. The location on the water is great. The restaurant, when open, is also great.」

「对于中国来的小伙伴，我是非常建议来这里体验，最理想是两晚上。房车里面提供了全部餐具及厨具，而且露营车不会给你收拾房间。注意部分避雷，火堆建议买合成木料，就是大块烧4.5小时那种，一个晚上准备两块够了。路边有卖木柴的，但是业余露营的不建议买。那是高手用的，难着，火弱，易灭。如果要在营地做饭的食物要带够，虽然附近有超级市场。附近有个州立公园适合远足，时间控制在五小时左右。」

「Very comfortable and cozy cabins just walking distance to Guerneville. The beds especially were some of the most comfortable we've ever slept in. The perfect hotel if you are looking for a relaxing getaway!」

「A peaceful and beautiful escape! For my first visit to Gurneville, Cottages on River Road added an extra layer of fun and excitement with our own private space, a wonderful fire pit with provided s’mores, and amazing staff! Looking forward to going back!」

「We stayed in the sparrow room. It was incredibly small and filthy. The room was caked in dust and smelled of cigarettes. The temperature regulation was also difficult - we opened the windows to air out the room. However, the windows did not have screens, so the open windows allowed bugs to enter. Madeira House operates much more like an AirBnB than a hotel. There is a contactless check in process without onsite staff. There are also multiple steps of steep stairs that lead from the road...

「The Occidental Lodge is a very charming, old-school lodge that is well-maintained and absolutely spotless. My favorite part was that there were no smells at all in the room, which I loved!The lodge is located in a tiny, quiet town that I would describe as a micro-country town. If you are planning a weekday stay, just keep in mind that the only things open are a little market and a breakfast café that closes at 3:00 PM. All of the other little restaurants nearby are only open Friday, Saturday,...

「We came in winter and we were the only one group of guest on that day. Room is not large but enough for two people. Water pressure for shower is not as good as normal hotel, which may due to their location.」

「Our room was very nice, clean, and roomy. The surrounding area was well kept, and surrounded by lush and beautiful landscaping. There were plenty of places to walk our dogs, and overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We anticipate many returns. A great big thank you to all the staff. My only suggestion is to add a microwave to the rooms.」
