Room was clean and very spacious. Everything was well taken care of and it was a great place to come back to after getting to hike and explore the nearby area. Breakfast was also a highlight and staff were very helpful and understanding.

No one was at the front desk for 20 minutes; Expedia reservation was initially not found; took another 15-20 minutes to check in. Front desk person was very nice, however.

For the most part this place is great. The property is older but they have made modern upgrades, I hope they upgrade the mattresses, it wasn’t horrible but definitely an old mattress. Love having the fire pit and they provide the fire and s’mores every evening. Great water pressure in the shower. I will stay again.

The room was great, updated and super comfortable. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We sat by the fire pit and enjoyed complimentary s’mores ingredients. The continental breakfast was so good, so much more than you would expect. The entire property was beautiful and quiet. We will be back for sure

Cottage was great, with everything I needed and wonderful bed/bedding. The breakfast buffet was exceptional - everything a hiker, traveler, sightseer might want - carbs, protein, fruit, nuts, hot/cold, good coffee - Options! A couple of restaurant/bar options in walking distance, and a lovely smores snack by the fire pit on the first night there. Armstrong Redwoods are so close you can go for quick tree top-ups multiple times a day :-)

My girlfriend and I came to visit Guerneville for our 4 year anniversary and I booked the Cottages. It was the perfect place for us to stay and celebrate our 4 years together. The staff and owner Deann were so warm, incredibly homely and super friendly. They made my girlfriend and I feel so welcome and we felt like family the entire time. When I was warming up for my morning run, Deann suggested a safer path through the residential area that I was grateful for and enjoyed even more than my original route! I had called ahead to Deann to see if the team would be able to do something special for the occasion and they got us the most beautiful purple roses and balloons we have ever seen! They also gave us an upgrade to the treehouse room which had the most amazing outdoor shower! In the cold November morning, a hot outdoor shower was absolutely amazing. The property is also home to 3 orange cats who are super friendly and so so cute

The Cottages are super cute. Mostly free standing units (a couple are duplexes) but nice outdoor area (with night-time self serve s'mores!). Dog friendly, good breakfast.
