The room was great, updated and super comfortable. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We sat by the fire pit and enjoyed complimentary s’mores ingredients. The continental breakfast was so good, so much more than you would expect. The entire property was beautiful and quiet. We will be back for sure

Cottage was great, with everything I needed and wonderful bed/bedding. The breakfast buffet was exceptional - everything a hiker, traveler, sightseer might want - carbs, protein, fruit, nuts, hot/cold, good coffee - Options! A couple of restaurant/bar options in walking distance, and a lovely smores snack by the fire pit on the first night there. Armstrong Redwoods are so close you can go for quick tree top-ups multiple times a day :-)

My girlfriend and I came to visit Guerneville for our 4 year anniversary and I booked the Cottages. It was the perfect place for us to stay and celebrate our 4 years together. The staff and owner Deann were so warm, incredibly homely and super friendly. They made my girlfriend and I feel so welcome and we felt like family the entire time. When I was warming up for my morning run, Deann suggested a safer path through the residential area that I was grateful for and enjoyed even more than my original route! I had called ahead to Deann to see if the team would be able to do something special for the occasion and they got us the most beautiful purple roses and balloons we have ever seen! They also gave us an upgrade to the treehouse room which had the most amazing outdoor shower! In the cold November morning, a hot outdoor shower was absolutely amazing. The property is also home to 3 orange cats who are super friendly and so so cute

These cottages are very cute, although they are located on a very busy road that can be noisy.The continental breakfast was the best breakfast I think I have ever had included in a stay. Quiche, breakfast sandwiches (ham, Swiss, sliced hard boiled egg with aioli on ciabotta), oatmeal and baked goods. The property provides fixings for s'mores at the fire pit. Only negative is the mattress wasn't very comfortable. Another positive is Stumptown Brewery is across the street, good beer and food!

Everything was AMAZING!! This place is a gem. The courtyard space for the cottages is Zen-like and every aspect was better than expected, from the room, the smores at 7 pm around the fire pit and the incredible breakfast. We loved it. Very warm hospitality from the front desk ladies at both check in and check out. Thank you!

I stayed at the Cottages on River Road and was really impressed. The room was spotless, and the bathroom was sparkling clean, it honestly felt like everything had just been freshly prepared for me. The bed was comfortable, and the space had a cozy, welcoming feel that made it easy to settle in. Parking was excellent, with plenty of spaces available right by the cottages. It made coming and going super convenient. The whole property is quiet and surrounded by beautiful redwoods, which adds to the peaceful vibe. Overall, this place is a gem in Guerneville. Clean rooms, well-kept grounds, and friendly staff. I’d definitely stay here again.

The grounds were lovely with redwoods looming. The fire pit in the early evening attracted a fun group to trade stories while toasting marshmallows for 'perfect s'mores'. Breakfast quiche, muffins and sandwiches - quite good. Overall, a wonderful experience. We'll be sure to return to this place the next time we come to Guerneville.
