Great place to get away and relax in peace. I’d definitely recommend this place for a couples getaway. The sunset suit was amazing with great views of the Russian River. We are definitely coming back soon!
We enjoyed our stay immensely. The staff person was very helpful and we were glad he was on site. The room was well appointed and faced the river. We could see Pelicans and other birds and wildlife, easily from our room. Everything was clean. Checking in and checking out were painless. Great job!
Beautiful place, awesome views, couldn’t be happier with our stay!

Absolutely the best place to go to unwind. The views were stunning, the rooms were cozy and unique with rustic charm. The location is perfect and is next to an incredible restaurant and a lot of cafes and amazing seafood options.
The staff were also incredible and very welcoming. We definitely look forward to staying here again.
A most serene and beautiful location in Jenner. Small quaint and fantastic. Check in with Tom was easy. Great local recommendations. The rooms overlooking the Russian River and views of the river meeting the sea. We stayed in the Sunset room. Breathtaking. Highly recommend for location, peacefullness and comfort quietness.
This place was an absolute gem - I almost don't want to advertise it too much lest the word get out. The room was lovely and comfortable and the view was stunning. Jenner is a small town and Madeira House is right in the middle of it. My only regret is not staying longer and getting to enjoy the magical garden on site. We will be back!
Lovely room. Epic sunsets from the balcony. Great stay!

Stayed in the Sage room. Best view, coffee, and linens that I have ever had in a hotel or vrbo, etc. Low key check in. Be prepared to pack your gear up and down stairs...but worth it.
Would definitely stay at property again. Would select a different unit. Unit that we stayed in had an adjacent wall and you could hear your neighbors. Beautiful views. Would work with property directly. Had issues with third party and connecting with property.

We arrived at 6:30pm on a Wednesday. There was no one there. I went to check my email to get the unit number and door code but there is no cell reception in the area, and the notice on the door containing the WIFI info uses a font so that the password appears in all caps. So no cell, no wifi, no humans. Finally tracked down another guest who had the wifi info. Would be nice for them to note "all lower case" or something helpful.
The room is clean and tidy. No TV, which was a small surprise. The "amenities" are a free carafe of tap water. There was only 2 coffee pods, so if you and you partner like more than one cup in the morning, you're out of luck. There was no normal coffee creamer, just some small packaged oatmilk thing.
I expect a little more for almost $400/night. I've never written a negative review before, so this is a first.
One other thing, not the fault of Madeira but something future guests should know: all the restaurants in Jenner are closed on Wednesdays.
