「Good: The room is big relative to its price. The bed is comfortable. The price is cheap. Bad: The key doesn't function well and it is hard to open the door. There is no fan or air conditioner. The area is unsafe. Toilet is smelly when I move in and I have to wash myself. There is no house keeping. It is also a pub so it is noisy at night. It closes at 11pm on weekdays but not sure about weekend. It is better to check yourself if you want to live on weekend.」

「The facilities needed to be renew, toilet seat was not fit to the toilet bowl, bed was too soft for me. We can hear people talking downstairs or walking outside. That's fine to stay 1 night.」

「Staff a little inexperienced and robotic. No chef at breakfast, so a reduced menu. Food mediocre, badly cooked. This area needs serious attention. Only 1 out of 10 specials available at dinner. Annex room #32 suitable for guests with a disability, bathroom enormous but very spartan, some guests might object, but we were only there for 1 night. Hotel should provide a refund for not providing a cooked breakfast option. A sausage on dry bread doesn't cut it! No milk in room. T. Austin」

「The hotel is beautiful with excellent staff members who can't do enough for you. The restaurant food is lovely and the breakfast included is such good value for money. Everyone was very happy on the business trip. One only issue is the guest Wifi is quite weak from the upstairs rooms so had to come to the bar to do some work. Thank you Himley House for an amazing stay!!」

「Check in was a breeze, Bryan checked our photo id,took our payment then explained about access after hours and directed us to our room. We had booked a room with 2 single beds and found it to be very clean and comfortable, not the biggest of rooms but we were only sleeping there so didn't bother us in the slightest. 「What a lovely find! The Shakespeare Suite is fantastic. We had Sunday lunch and would definitely recommend it. I’m gluten free and they catered for me no problems. The staff were lovely and friendly, chatted to us, were attentive and nothing was too much for them! Breakfast the next morning was great. Good choice and freshly cooked to order. 」

「I stayed at The Bell in Tewkesbury for a couple of nights with my Sister. Check in was easy, all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nicely presented and clean as was the rest of the bar and dining area. Breakfast was included and had a choice of cereal / yogurt / fruit / pastry’s plus a choice of cooked breakfast which was all very nice. 「This property was my style of hotel, lots of character with a charming secret garden to dine in, but very modern rooms. Even had a towel warmer! Like all European hotels, they don't provide wash cloths, but I just used the corner of a towel since I had forgotten to bring a wash cloth. Not a big deal.
