There were black marks in the carpet and mould around the shower tray. Other than that, it was an OK place to stay. Convenient to shops, nice pub/restaurant area. Thr stairs to and from the car park were not well maintained.

It's quite a basic hotel but great for an overnight or short stay. It was comfortable, clean and had what we needed. Walls are a little thin so sound travels. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is extremely filthy. The hot water wasn’t working on the day of stay. Room was a mess. Hotel is falling apart. The bath tub looked nasty. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel if someone paid me to. Beds were disgusting. The carpet looked worse than a shelter home. And all the reviews that say this is a top notch hotel are false. You are better off staying on the street than this hotel.

The staff were excellent and bar offered local craft beer. We did not know the inn offered breakfast. We were told when we arrived. We had made other arrangements so we did not partake in breakfast. The rooms was clean although the caulking in the shower had black mold that needs to be replaced. The toilet brush in the bathroom was overdue to be changed as it was unsightly. We had another room booked for our daughter on the lower level and the shower in her room is also in need of maintenance as there was black mold along the bottom of the shower. Otherwise we were happy with our rooms and the location of Bournbrook Inn.

It was a basic room, but very clean and the beds were comfortable, which is all you need from a cheap hotel. Doors had no dampening so often heard slamming.
