「This has been on my bucket list for some time. We had a wounderful 2 night stay and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, larger than alot of hotel rooms. You lay in bed at night and could imagine your travelling on a train. The meal was excellent, Beef Wellington to die for, so good and wonderful surroundings in a 1906 Pullman car exquisitely restored. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. Alot of history tied up in this place.」
「I was amazed by the service of a gentleman called Dave. I drove from London to attend a wedding and was going to spent 2 nights at this hotel. I got delayed by roadworks on A406 and M3. I called to ask whether my son could access my room. He had driven in 3 hours earlier with my sister. Dave kindly obliged and I really appreciated that. In addition he was very gracious and kind whe we finally arrived after midnight. The hotel was more than satisfactory for what we required. Parking was adequate....
「Great hotel with pub and restaurant, in a tudor building from the 1700s. The staff were excellent, super friendly and gave me a lot of information about the area, things to do. Only drawback is that due to the age of the building there was a bit of noise from other rooms」
「The pub was pleasant and lively and we enjoyed a good dinner. The room was on the small side but it had all the amenities we needed. The breakast was freshly cooked and excellent.」
「It was not a very bad hotel but it happened to have some car event outside the hotel at the carpark and so we were not able to get a parking space. And I heard that these events happened all the time so just in case if you are bumping into one of there it’s gonna be a big trouble ( terrible traffic and no parking space till 10pm)」
