「Beautiful property that felt luxurious yet not pretentious. Food was excellent and loved the cappuccino smoothies! We stayed in a suite that had a private plunge pool and it was gorgeous! Staff went above and beyond with making sure we had everything that we needed and made our room spotless every day.」

Ziggys dinner was not that great- fish under cooked and shrimp soggy and when we mentioned it to the waiter he just said “sorry” and never offered to take it off the menu. It was expensive and. 「It’s beautiful there! Staff worked continuously clearing beach. Included breakfast was very good. You have to put toilet paper in trash which is gross and it’s kinda expensive, dinner was 50 to 60$ each and drinks 17$ but other than that we loved our stay there. Had a great time! 」

「After arriving to this hotel i realized quickly it looked nothing at all like the pictures. The water in the bathroom sinks and shower wete salty and felt like ice water . The rooms were not in great condition.They also do not provide guests with water bottles at all they provide a container of water to each room which I'm not sure it's safe to drink . The clean towels provided daily had stains and at check out we were charged for makeup on a towel and when i asked why i was being charged for...

「I looked at SO many places to stay in Tulum, and was happy to find this property. It is a small hotel with exceptional staff. We were looking for a "budget" option to stay on the beach, that still offered comfortable accommodations. This does not have all the amenities of some of the larger resorts nearby; but the room was clean, the food was good, and we were happy to have a few days near the beach. 」

「My stay at Shibari was wonderful! Staff were very professional, attentive & courteous. Check-in process was simple. They were able to check me in early. The room floor seemed like it wasn’t cleaned that well but the room and view was so beautiful it took the focus away from it. The cenote and restaurant area were amazing. Food taste amazing, a bit overpriced, but the taste, service & staff compensated for it. The fitness center can use some attention. 」

Watching the sun rise over the ocean from bed, having breakfast served on the patio while watching the waves, listening to the sounds of the surf while drifting off to sleep all made the trip magical! All the staff were lovely, food and drinks were delicious and perfect location on the beach! Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax.」

It’s different than your typical vacation spot. By the time we left the staff and other guests felt like friends and family. And there are cats!! 」
