「Short walk to the beach!!」

「The staff were friendly, efficient and responded quickly to any issues. The pool was amazing, very clean as was the hot tub. My complaint is with the entry/exit doors on the North building. 「The room was old and dingy had a moldy smell when we walked in housekeeping in that room for check-in was OK and the living spaces but I found someone’s used washcloth under the bathroom sink. also, the outside door stuck you had to use Force to open it, and the screen door kept popping off the balcony area is not taken care of at all in the room. 「No problems with checking in - the guy was very nice and helpful. The hotel was only open for three months after being closed for a year and a half for remodeling. We were on the first floor (the elevator was broke, which didn't affect us) away from the lobby and had no noise issues, though we got there later and were getting up earlier. The hotel is right next to the beach with a short walking path through the dune at the corner of the property. Our room was a 2-full bedroom with a sofa bed....

「My recommendation is to avoid this property until they can implement significant changes. The room seemed to have not been rented in a long time so not sure if it had not been cleaned/checked in a long time or they just did the bare minimum when they cleaned it for turn over to next reservation. Dead insects in the bathroom floor and a shower and sink area that had clearly not been cleaned. (Something resembling blood spots in the sink) Damp/dirty bath towels folded on the bathroom shelf.
