「The property was clean and well-located, and overall my stay was pleasant. However, I noticed that the restaurant staff seemed very overworked and tired. While they were doing their best, I believe they would benefit from more support to ensure they have time to rest and can provide a more welcoming and cheerful experience for guests. A little extra help could go a long way in enhancing the overall atmosphere. Thank you!」

「One of the cleanest rooms I’ve ever stayed in as a frequent traveler (normally staying with big name hotels for business). Staff members were friendly. It was a very short, and mostly easy, walk to the beach via private access. Not sure about breakfast, the fitness room, or the pools as I did not use those amenities. 」

「Great little motel on the beach. Small parking lot, but in walking distance to many local places, short drives to stores, and less than a 2 minute walk from room to beach. 」

「Saltaire Cottages was a great place to stay for a few days. It was cleaned and had what we needed for those few days. When you drive up it seems to be a little outdated. The inside of our cottage had been redone and it was fine. The location is great, right across the street with their own beach access. The beaches were not so crowded on any day that you felt like you were right on top of each other.」

「The room is extremely cozy and fitting to the outer Banks as far as decor. The lady at the front desk known as sunshine was very pleasant and sweet」

「My stay was amazing. The view from my room was great. The room was very clean up on arrival. It was pretty quiet the whole time and the pool was very clean. Beach access was great didn't have to go over and dunes just right out to the ocean. Overall my stay was great and I would recommend staying at the Blue Heron」
