"We had a great stay at the San Luis Resort. We loved the pool and swim-up bar, and the steakhouse was excellent. The room had beautiful views, and breakfast in bed was a perfect touch. We’d definitely come back!"

"One King-size bed room was large, clean, and comfortable. The only suggestion is to offer guests free cup of coffee at restaurants coffee bar - staff said we must pay for it. Experience at all other hotels is that morning coffee is complimentary."

"Hotel is not as advertised with 24/7 shuttle service. Once we paid our way there it took over an hour to get us into a room because of I outer problems. The woman was very helpful and trying her best but it was almost 4 am and we were exhausted. I spoke with the manager in the morning about our troubles and he stated he could not offer any refunds due to booking with a 3rd party. After almost 1.5 of trying to reach the right person and being hung up several times they offered a credit for$25. I asked for more seeing that didn’t even cover the uber that we got due to their deceptive advertising. They declined any refund and sent me a email with a broken link for a “free” night after I joined some program. No thanks never again! "

"I was happy to be able to check in half an hour early, since we went to the beach and we needed a shower. The man working the front desk seemed to naturally have a lot of attitude and seemed to be kind of rude from the beginning but I didn’t let it bother me until we made our way to our room. Our bathroom smelt like someone had just smoked cigarettes inside the bathroom. When we reported it to the front desk. The man did not believe us saying”if someone was smoking in the room we would get an alert” it smelt so terrible. But that man in the front desk asked Arturo I’m guessing he was a house man to help us. Arturo was very friendly and very empathetic towards us. He sent one of the house cleaners upstairs to help clean the smell out of the bathroom. The house cleaner was super nice. The only person that ruined our trip was the front desk guy, he had terrible customer service, shouldn’t work in this type of industry since he had no hospitality. We even asked if we can switch rooms and he responded really sassy “ there is no other rooms available” it just sucked because it was my birthday and the interaction with this man ruined it for me. Basically if the bathroom didn’t smell like fresh cigarettes and the front desk guy was much nicer I would give a higher rating. Next time I’m in Galveston I’ll spend extra money on a better hotel with better service. "

"Right across the street from the beach and near a great beachside restaurant. Really enjoyed the relaxed vibe. The breakfast was basic but helped get me on my way. Exceeded my expectations!"

"Breakfast was one of the best I've had at a Hotel. We intend to stay here from now on when we visit Galveston. Kroger is next door, and the beach is right across the street. The room was clean and comfortable. "
