We visit the San Luis often, and the property is always well maintained. They’ve recently begun renovations, and the updates are very nice. Everything during our stay was perfect — the service, the amenities, and the overall atmosphere.
However, one issue we encountered was with valet parking. When we booked through Expedia, it was advertised as free valet parking, but we were charged upon arrival. When we spoke to the front desk, they informed us that they have repeatedly asked Expedia to remove that claim, as valet is not complimentary. Unfortunately, Expedia continues to list it incorrectly.
Just a heads-up for future guests — be aware that valet is not free, despite what some third-party sites may advertise.
