The room was great, the beds were comfortable. Walking distance to beach, and 61st pier for fishing. Also restaurants nearby. Don't wait until the last minute to extend your stay and use expedia to get a good deal.

the only thing is some of us are coming from a long distance they are not friendly at check in and when I asked to extend a day they night crew said it was available and once I went back at breakfast time asking if I could she was very rude telling me there was no sea side rooms I went back on to expedia finding 5 rooms on the web site staff said dont believe that there was no rooms. Everything is fine if you dont talk to staff over heard the conversation at desk regarding towel and delivery you must bring your towels to the front desk to get new ones of you stay multiple days they do not remove trash or change out towels, I asked for trash bags to remove trash myself 2nd day was told someone would bring you bags never seen them. The best thing was the breakfast and how close it was to the local attractions its a nice hotel staff just forget we are vacationing I have 30 years of up front customer service and it defiantly needs addressed to your desk clerks

It’s a bit more outdated than the pics show. Close walk to the beach and the pool was fine. Tv stopped working in my mom’s room they wouldn’t switch out the tv only offer to switch rooms even though they were limited rooms she wanted to stay next door since it was connecting. House was being built on the back side & they were building something on the same floor we were on. Came across large nails throughout the walk from room to pool. Check in was accommodating since our first night we came late. Breakfast was good.

I fell in the room as there was water on the floor after we come back from dinner- the manager did not care or apologize and said all rooms have major condensation!! The whole room was flooded and the carpet was wet

Nice staff, but took a bit as we arrived during a rush. Clean room. Fridge didn't work however. Room 443 has an awesome view of the beach. Elevator needs service/maintenance.

The access to the beach was great and there was a nice pool. There was construction going on, but it wasn't all the time. Everyone that worked there was helpful and friendly. There was a good breakfast every morning at 7am and coffee in the lobby. My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay.

Great location and my room had a very nice view of the ocean. Overall, the property is dated and is in need of attention. Old brown carpet, rusted out toilet paper holders and mold in the bathroom. Sadly, the first thing I smelled after we opened the car doors in the parking lot was garbage. Thankfully the odor wasn’t there the entire visit. The quality of the hot items for breakfast were somewhat ok. Good waffles, potatoes and biscuits - eggs tasted water logged and coffee was watered down. Small but decent dry goods selection and enjoyed the clementines. Unfortunately, this hotel is not in my repeat list.

Enjoyed our stay! Conveniently located on the seawall. The front desk staff was very friendly. My daughter left her cellphone and the staff was so helpful on getting it back to her!

I love that place. I've been to all of the hotels in Galveston in this hotel right here don't judge a book by its cover because the beds are amazing and so are the pillows. Their breakfast is awesome.This staff is great

The room was okay, although the toilet did not properly flush. The stairwell had trash in it for days. The elevator did not properly work. Someone was smoking in the hallway and no one told them to stop... it is a non-smoking hotel.

Hotel elevator was very sketchy and felt as though it was going to break down at any moment. Rooms smelled musty, bedding was dirty, and beds were incredibly uncomfortable.
