The property is right on the sea wall. Problem was it was under maintenance for upcoming summers, I understand, but why open half done premise? The rooms were newly painted but not cleaned , so was the property, dust everywhere, makeshift reception desk. And an absolutely rude staff. They didnt have spare bedding, crib for my kid ( requested two days in advance) , after insisting we got it delivered to room. For breakfast, everyone had to walk to the neighbor property (Clarion) because kitchen wasn't ready. Pool wasn't available when we went. Wifi was broken, though they informed us pre-hand that if it doesn't work, technician can fix it. So if i am staying for a night , why would I bother for everything, we decided to adjust. But certainly, I wouldn't pay 100 bucks for half open property. Only plus was clean linen and a good TV, rest I would avoid until peak summer

This hotel is going thru construction but the room was very dirty and the bathroom was horrible hair everywhere. Mirror nasty and the tub was horrible. The hotel seem very old . I wouldn’t walk around bare foot on any of their floors . For the price it should be cleaner but u are playing for the beach and indoor pool . Everything else is horrible

The entire bottom floor of hotel was under construction which I was not warned about when booking. The room was nice enough, but we found food in the fridge/freezer from the last guests so that did make us feel uncomfortable. I will be looking for a different option next time I am staying in the area.

Undergoing a renovation during our stay and reception was unfinished so breakfast and use of pool as sister property next door was provided- 2 minutes walk so no issues. Room great, parking easy, great restaurant next to hotel. Will be 5/5 but Reno’s during stay dropped it 1 point

The staff was excellent. Great location. The indoor pool was small, there was construction going on so the whole hotel was not very clean and the lobby was non existent, the free breakfast was in the hotel next door. The parking lot was a bit difficult to access, especially during rush hours. I'm sure once construction is finished it will be more pleasant to stay there.

We normally love this hotel for the close access to the beach, water view, breakfast, close proximity to restaurants and shopping and their helpful and friendly staff. Unfortunately when we arrived this time they were undergoing an extensive renovation. Nothing wrong with fixing a place up, but there was no mention of this on their website or when we made our reservation. Our room was great and had comfortable beds and bedding, some new furniture, etc. We were sent next door to their sister property for breakfast, which was delicious yet inconvenient. Parking our car was challenging, as was figuring how to get to the front desk because of areas blocked off for construction. I'm sure they'll be done renovating soon, but it would have been nice to know in advance that all this was going on. I would suggest contacting the property to see if they're done if you're thinking of staying here, unless you don't mind some inconveniences.

The breakfast was not even in the hotel it wasn't the hotel next door the pictures did not match the brochure construction was being done it was very loud there was no restaurant in the hotel as advertised

The entire property is under construction, which is fine but we were not advised of this when the booking was made through Expedia. The room had small balcony and faced the beach. The room itself was extremely damp...all our clothing was damp when we packed to leave. Also, from midnight to about 5:00 AM on Easter sunday morning, there were 2 or 3 people in the hall of the 4th floor and in the room next to us who were awake all night, yelling and on cell phones, smoking in hall (we could smell it in our room), and door slamming.

We had a junior suite on the 5th floor that gave us a nice view of the ocean. They are doing serious remodeling right now so it was confusing to find the front desk. I believe they said the reno would be done in May.

The surroundings are a bit unpleasant, as the place doesn't look very clean—in fact, they were undergoing renovations—and you can smell a foul, musty odor in the hallways right from the moment you enter the lobby. Furthermore, the staff is merely there to do their job, making no effort to ensure you have a pleasant experience. I say this without hesitation: I had booked a stay for three nights but only stayed for two, as they never came to clean the room. It was a disappointment.
