The hotel is modern in design and our room was spacious with a nice ensuite and air conditioning. Maybe the only criticism was the empty minibar and lack of storage for clothing. "Truth is, this hotel probably deserves most of the hilariously bad reviews. The rooms all seems to be in various stages of collapse - some have only hot water, others have only cold. Some have broken or barely functioning air conditioning. Half the power sockets are broken/ a death risk. The place was renovated very shoddily about 25 years ago and it’s clear the owner can’t or won’t pay to get it fixed. " Rooms are a little small but nice and comfortable. Nice roomy bed for two. The only problem is its about a four blocks walk to the nearest underground station. Reasonably quite at night. Very nice breakfast."

"This Hilton is attached to Paddington Station so travel to/from Heathrow via Heathrow Express (20 min) couldn’t be easier. Also, lots of shops/food/restaurants in the station and nearby. Transport via tube and bus again is right there so getting to other areas of London is quick and easy. Room was a bit small but very comfortable, clean, quiet. My only disappointment was no fridge/minibar, but that may have been due to the room type I selected."

"Great hotel. Booked a single room and i must say that the room and bed were bigger than some double rooms in London. The room was spotless with a big shower. The staff were fantastic and so was the breakfast. The street is very quiet and only a short walk from either Paddington, Lancaster Gate or Queensway transport links. Would definitely stay here the next time I'm in London."

"Good location for walking to various areas in central London. Hyde park was always lovely to walk through. Check in was seamless, room was a nice size, clean and lovely large tub! The bed mattress was pretty firm not my liking but that’s a personal preference. Overall, great experience! "
