"It's a lovely small property that can hold a surprising amount of people very easily. It's slightly on the older side, however the owner is very attentive and will fix issues on the spot if notified. The area also has some of the best views surrounding the town, and has a very active downtown full of places to visit!"
"My wife and i were here for snowboarding, and really enjoyed our stay. The location’s central, has a Seicomart just across the road, petrol station, and a coin laundry within a stone’s throw. And a Coop (supermarket) just down the road aswell.
The bedroom configuration is pretty compressed/tight but that’s not too bad. Everything else is great. "

Price is good. We are a family of four and we got a container with six beds. The room is clean but my daughter complained that it has some sort of motor oil or paint smell (I didn’t smell anything). Staff was friendly. They allowed me to check in at 2pm. Their instruction of finding the hotel helped.
Location is nice. I recommended for family more than 4 people as it is not easy to find room with 6 beds. The room is narrow because it is a container.

The staff here were wonderful. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was problem free and a great experience. The free breakfast was very nice with an amazing virgen from the dining room. I can’t say enough good things about the staff and the general manager. I would definitely come back here again.

It was a wonderful experience. I stay at Winkel with my two kids. The private onsen was a very special experience. I appreciated that the hotel receptionist responded my emails promptly and called a jumble taxi for us in advance to bring my suitcases and us to the Otaru station. Highly recommend.
