As the name suggests, the hotel is nothing fancy, but the location is great and the reception provides basic amenities which you can take as ypu need. The staff is amazing and helpful. Our biggest issue was getting a non-smoking room on a floor, often flooded with cigarette smell, which got into the room despite closed doors. They gave us a different room on another floor, which appeared to be overall in better shape and which we can't complain about. The walls are a bit thin and you can hear next door, but if you don't mind that, it's a great option to stay at.

The Ibis budget in Osaka is much better than the Ibis budgets we have in the UK. The room was quite small, but spotlessly clean and generally fine. It is a "no frills" hotel so we weren't expecting much but actually we were pleasantly surprised. We generally slept quite well, but the hotel was not as sound-proofed as other Japanese hotel and the hotel does appear popular with "westerners": we had some irritating children running around the corridors in the early evening (not the hotel's fault of course). No real traffic noise, despite being on a busy road. The hotel is quite close to Osaka station but it is quite long, somewhat stressful walk with luggage from the JR station. However, overall, I would say the location was convenient, since only a few minute's walk to the metro station. Overall, this was good and I'd stay again.

Hotel very well located, near Osaka station. Room was good size and clean. Ceiling of bathroom very low. At 5'10" my head could almost touch it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good at a reasonable price. Would stay there again.

It is an excellent and convenient hotel to stay at if you are on a budget (as the name implies), and it still looks like a semi-premier hotel on the inside. The breakfast included was also great. Although I understand the dedication to eco-friendliness, the fact they only do room service once every 3 days wasn't my cup of tea. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place to stay as it's also decently close of many train stations.

Ibis Budget Osaka Umeda is about a 10-minute walk from Umeda Station and there are plenty of shops and restaurants along the way to keep you entertained. Umeda Station links to all the major tourist spots in Osaka, so this hotel's location is perfect for exploring Osaka. The rooms are small but have all you need if you plan to spend your time in Osaka outside of the hotel. In addition, the staff were very helpful and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Osaka.

Great for one day trips in Osaka
Good location in Osaka, near Umeda station. Small room, but good for a short stay type of trip. Very clean and no hassles.

The property is near Hankyu station, so it is rather easy to access. I do think that it will be nice if the amenity is ready in the room. The room that I was in was really good too. I was able to have a good view of the city. The breakfast was simple and delicious. It would be nicer if the staff would have elaborated more about the choice between bread and rice selection. Overall, it was really good. Would be looking forward to staying here again.

Overall, a nice place to stay for a day. Nothing unique but a bed and bathroom but if you aren't the much of need it's perfect. If you want a place to relax or expecting a large place, may not be the perfect place for you.

Budget is in the name, so that should set your expectations. I have stayed at Ibis before and it is generally good. This one felt more bare bones, but still totally fine. I had the good fortune of an excellent check in clerk who spoke great English. The heat controls worked (which is not always the case in hotels) but the mini fridge did not. Win some, lose some.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was really convenient, close to metro and to shopping centers. The room was very comfortable and clean. I will definitely book it again if I go to Ōsaka.

Great Location and Comfort
Very close to Osaka Station on the HEP-5 side. Walking distance to everything around the station. My room was quiet even though it was on the street side of the building.

Close to Osaka train station Staff not very good in English and rooms are not designed for European people I am 164cm tall and 57kg and I had no space to move around with my daughter with me in the room, it was either her or me.
