"Very clean and peaceful. The room was the perfect temperature and the beds very comfy."

"We were at the hotel for just one night prior to a cruise, but we flew in in the morning. We were able to check in early, as soon as we arrived. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at the patio bar/restaurant and had an amazing waitress. We then enjoyed the beautiful beach for the afternoon. Beach chairs and umbrellas were available for a typical charge. We were for to our room, and all of us found the beds extremely comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast in the morning was great! We ate poolside. Our departure was delayed, and again the staff was so accommodating, allowing us to stay after the usual checkout time. We were able to enjoy the pool and hot tub and beautiful Jacksonville weather. "

"We booked the resort sight unseen and were delighted with our choice. Great food at the restaurant and bar, comfy beds, welcoming staff, and lovely beach. It was especially nice to have the tiki bar by the pool. We will stay there again. "

"Celebrated my man 44th bday. We had the junior suite with river view and it was awesome! But….I didn’t like that the internet on our tv’s didn’t work. We couldn’t connect our apps or play our music. Staff ain’t care they just said rooms in the building need work done on the internet. No comp was given, no money taken off total we paid nothing…The bathroom walls near shower needs updating as well. Parking was $16/day but we were able to park our rental on the street. Housekeeping was awesome they changed our bedding and restocked our coffee daily. The area was quiet and beautiful. Will definitely stay again in the Junior Suite for sure!"

"It’s a gorgeous place to stay! We were in a room that hasn’t been renovated yet, that was by my choice though, they are very accommodating. The pool area is so very nice, although I didn’t get a chance to use it, I seen people out there enjoying it. We spent most of our time at the beach, which seemed closer than 2 minutes away! I definitely know when I come back to St Augustine I’m staying at Castillo Real Resort Inn. They also have a dining room that I hope to use next time around. "

"A really neat place to stay while in St. Augustine. Loved the lay out of the property. The trolley stopped there because the General is in the property, and happens to be one of the 21 stops. Magnolia Ave. is the street behind the villa and is where the Fountain of Youth is located. Wasn't aware of these things, so all was a nice surprise. Would stay there again if we ever go back to St. Augustine."
