「Upon checking in, we found the hotel undergoing a co.plete renovation. Most of the main lobby closed off and the bar moved to the restaurant. The elevators were also being renovated and taken out of service 1 or 2 at a time out of the 3. I would have expected Expedia to have some type of construction notice when booking. I always stay at the Southbank when in Jacksonville, but this had to be the most disappointing visit EVER!!! Call the hotel beforehand to confirm status of renovation to avoid...

They all deserve a honor for their great work ethics. At both hotels we cross paths with different employees everyone deserves five stars.」

「The room was clean comfortable and well stocked. Checking in was smooth and easy, parking was expensive but non complicated. The only down side is they did not offer late check out when requested and you couldn't control your own room temperature.」

「Mold! There was mold in our first room. We both got extremely sick from it. We stayed for 7 days and spent 5 of them sick. They only give you two flat pillows for a queen/king bed and we requested more and finally days later got them. Our second room only had one bath towel but we made it work for the days we were there.
