"As most other reviewers mention, the breakfast makes this hotel stand out from other options. Great and efficient way to start the day. We requested and received adjoining rooms, which was a great way to keep the family together while also giving everyone enough space. The proximity to the bus terminal and subway system was a huge bonus, as we took the bus from the Newark airport into the city. It was just a short walk to/from the hotel from there. The only complaint was the shower. No ledges to shave your legs or place to put anything you need in shower. In our room, there was also no slope in the shower, so the water didn't go toward the drain. We were standing in water at the end of every shower. I did like that there was a nice long shelf across the vanity to hold all of our toiletries. Unfortunately, the rooftop was closed at the time of our stay, so can't speak to that. The elevators can get busy in the morning, but it didn't create any major issues for us."
Hilton Garden Inn New York/West 35th Street

"The room was super clean, staff is friendly, i can't say about breakfast, and air conditioning was powerful but noisy. Room is spacious, different from other hotels in the same price range. Hotel location is great. Behind the front desk they have a mini shop with snacks, chocolate, beverages and self checkout, which was very useful. They also have little umbrellas for around $20. The downside and really annoying was the bottom portion of the shower booth glass, that was leaking a lot. I had to clean up the mess after every bath, because no matter how careful I was, when closing the door and even trying to manage the water flow with my own body to prevent the water from hitting that area, it would leak anyway and quickly make a pool outside. Room 1802, unsure if it's a common issue. But I would still come back to Hilton, for the spacious and very comfortable clean room."

"Our King Deluxe room was clean, comfortable and the bed was excellent. Perfect for concerts, events or a Toronto getaway, especially with Union Station right across the street. Would definitely stay again. 10/10"
